NYC/FRIEZE: DAY FOUR

We revisited David's studio first thing in the morning and
here's a sneak peek of works for the group show in September!

We later paid David Leiber a visit at Sperone Westerwater in Bowery,
currently showing -
AN ACCUMULATION OF INFORMATION TAKEN FROM HERE TO THERE,
a group exhibition focused on works from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
Taking its title from Lawrence Weiner’s 1970 text-based piece, the show highlights a generation of American and European artists who rejected traditional aesthetics in favour of new forms and procedures

Showing upstairs on the 3rd floor is William Wegman's
-  Artists Including Me
a solo exhibition by William Wegman of recent postcard paintings that
feature imagery from secondhand souvenirs, imaginary landscapes, and art about art!
We hop over to White Column to check out this small
Ryan Sullivan painting coming up at their annual Benefit auction.
Who is going to be the lucky owner?!

With 30 minutes to spare, you headed to Chelsea to check out the
epic Fontana solo show at Gagosian

Inside Fontana's "painting"

Loris Gréaud solo show - The Unplayed Notes
at Pace gallery sends the chill down the spine...

The exhibition features a series of site-specific, multisensory installations that activate new ways of experiencing Gréaud’s on-going investigation of altered realities.
