With Frieze upon us, we've decided to share with you our diary for this week - where we've been and what we saw!
We kicked off with the preview at PAD on Berkeley Square, c/o Hopkins Custot |
an orderly queue was formed just before 5pm, how British! |
Graff was spotted at Ben Brown's stand |
Ahead of the curve: Panel discussion at Christies... |
...beneath Cattelan's Untitled.
|
Sorry Tacita, we couldn't make it all the way to Southwark. Will have to leave this for another day |
Robilant + Voena hosted an enchanting dinner with the Morandi's still life theme - roses and bottles decorate the table. |
The dinner also celebrates the new space opened on the third floor with the Win Delvoye show and his "Twisted Jesus" displayed at the far end of the gallery. |
It was fun to sit next to Tim Steiner who happily agree to show me his Wim Delvoye Tattoo after dinner, he was sold to a collector in Hamburg for 150,000 euros and will be on his way to MONA (Australia) next month to be exhibited as an artwork, on loan by his owner! http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/Home/Archive/Human_canvas_to_go_on_show.html?cid=6896700 |
