FRIEZE WEEK: DAY THREE

Frieze 2011 VIP preview day -

We walked into Frieze 2011 VIP preview day, there -
Dasha and Gwen Stefani were checking out Dan Colen's
new Thrash painting
at Gagosian stand

Rather than the usual names like Ruscha, Hirst, Warhol, Prince
on the stand, w
e were pleasantly surprised to find a playful and witty
Urs Fischer piece in the booth, curated by Franz West

The mesmerising Noonan

Christian Jankowski's "The Finest Art on Water", which is either a boat or an artwork, depending on what you're willing to pay for it -(£60m if you buy it simply as a sailing vessel, or £70m if you buy it as a certified artwork or "floating sculpture")

certainly attracts lots of attention, at the fair,
as well as on the water?
